Return of Roger
A lot of people have been talking about the return of Roger Clemens and how he doesn't have to be around when he's not pitching. The way I see it, if he's not the best pitcher of all time he's certainly one of the best so if anyone has earned the role of part time guy he's done it. I can see how some of his teammates wouldn't like it. They have some big time players in New York who've accomplished a lot and they aren't being treated differently so I could see them not liking it at all.
Personally, I don't have a problem with it. I've heard the argument that in a 16 or 17 inning game he wouldn't be there to pitch, but he's not one of the guys that would be used like that. When you get into those spots usually you turn to the younger guys on the team.
I would absolutely be in favor of him joining my team. I can learn a lot from him, watching him work on the mound and his pregame. When you have a guy like that who performs at such a high level it's good for the game. Plus, he's got people talking about baseball and that's a good thing.
